Disney announced that it will invest $17 billion in the next 10 to 20 years to expand the entire Walt Disney World Resort complex in Orlando.
Yeah, my friends. If you think a one-week trip in the city is little to enjoy all the theme parks, it is good to consider expanding the number of your stay! rsrs
In addition to a fifth large theme park, the company intends to create two more smaller parks to attract even more visitors.
The company did not give more details about the new parks, but assured that it will already invest $8 billion already in the next 10 years.

Among these investments are the expansion in the number of hotel rooms that will rise from 40,000 to more than 53,000 rooms, and still increase the amount of shops and restaurants in more than 20%.
Orlando's Walt Disney World Resort is the largest Disney resort in the world and currently has 4 theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Animal Kingdom.
Only the first one gets around 25 million visitors a year!
Speculations on the new Animal Kingdom area
One of the news that should arrive very soon is a new area in Animal Kingdom called Tropical Americas. There are some speculations that it is being created at the site where it was the spring roller coaster Whirl of the Dinoland area, and should serve as the basis of the film Charming, since it's inspired by Mexico.

During a D23 event in California, a company executive showed some conceptual images of what the new Animal Kingdom area could look like. For now, it's just speculation, but we may soon have more Disney news coming up! Let's wait!
