The news doesn't stop and they're full steam ahead. Epic Universe. After launching the attraction Wicked: The Experience (check the post clicking here) last Saturday, November 16, Universal has just released a preview of what the area of Ministry of Magic, scenario of the new attraction Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry.
The new innovative attraction found in The Wizard World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic promises to be Universal's most impressive ride to this day – mixing incredibly detailed environments, powerful narrative, unprecedented walking technology and much more to lead visitors to an action-packed adventure to witness the infamous Dolores Umbridge trial.
Just like the castle of Hogwarts in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade and Gringotts Bank ed The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley, the immense scale and inspiring details of the British Ministry of Magic will surprise visitors while they are immersed in yet another iconic location of the saga
The journey through the warlock government building normally restricted will lead visitors through the Ministry's large lobby, through Dolores Umbridge's office, through other Ministry departments and much more before boarding magical and omnidirectional elevators to bring Dolores Umbridge to justice once and for all.
Here is a more detailed view of some of the highly immersive environments that visitors will find in Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry:
Metro-Flu corridor
Visitors will travel from Paris – scenery of other exciting experiences inspired by the films of Fantastic Animals ed The Magic World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic – for the Ministry through the Metro-Flu – a unique means of transportation inspired by the iconic Flu Network of films. As they emerge from the fireplace-like structures they saw in the films, visitors will meet immediately in the lobby of the Ministry of Magic.
Atrium of the Ministry of Magic
The great atrium of falling the jaw of the Ministry of Magic comes to life in all its grandeur in line for attraction. Here, guests will find a restored statue of the Magic Brothers' Fountain, the breathtaking enchanted roof, an infinite variety of offices from the Ministry of the ground to the ceiling and many other intricate details for guests to discover while inside. Visitors will also discover that their visit falls on the same day that Dolores Umbridge will be tried for his crimes against the warlock world.
Ministry reception
Visitors will pass through the Ministry Reception, where witches usually ask for information before taking care of their witch business. However, the guests will find no one working in the reception booths today, because the entire Ministry is busy preparing for trial.
Dolores Umbridge Office
A bright chandelier illuminates the ancient office of Dolores Umbridge, which reveals itself as exaggerated as the woman herself, with its pink tones and gold sculptures decorated everywhere. Here, visitors will meet Higgledy, Umbridge's former domestic elf, for the first time, while she enthusiastically cleans the office before the trial.
Daily Prophet, Memoranda and Other Magic Details
Visitors should be alert to a variety of details of the films as they venture through the Ministry, such as the latest edition of the Daily Prophet, interdepartmental memoranda and even the belongings of some of their favorite characters in the films.
Elevator of the Magic Ministry
Guests will embark on a magical and omnidirectional lift that accommodates up to 14 guests to travel even further through the British Ministry for the long awaited Dolores Umbridge trial. Adorned with vibrant details in red and gold, these lifts are different from any ride vehicle ever created and will propel visitors up, down, forward, back, sideways and much more across the Ministry - just as the guests saw in the movies.
Additional Ministerial Areas
Once on board the tour, visitors will find themselves in an exciting chase to catch Umbridge while she tries to escape her judgment - all this while avoiding attacks from the Death Eaters, angry creatures and much more along the way. Other areas where visitors will fly in the British Ministry include: Magic Archives - a cavernous library full of imposing cabinets containing centuries of Ministry archives and magical documents; Department of Magic Creatures – where the creatures have escaped and are going mad; and Time Room – which is overflowing with a variety of Vira-tempos and unique timing devices.
Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry will be inaugurated at the Epic Universe in 22 May 2025 and is just one of the many exciting experiences in The Wizard World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic. The third portion of the popular Harry Potter theme lands of Universal Orlando will also include a new live show, Le Cirque Arcanus, inspired by the movies Fantastic Animals; a variety of highly thematic gastronomic and retail experiences; interactive wand magic and captivating entertainment.
